With the tagline “Consider it a red alert wherever injustice prevails,” the makers hinted at the film’s theme and Senapathy’s unwavering resolve. The posters showcase Kamal Haasan in two different looks as Senapathy, with the Indian flag soaring high in the background, symbolizing his patriotic fervour.
MULTILINGUAL TREAT: INDIAN 2 SET TO ENTHRALL AUDIENCES
The makers delighted fans by unveiling four posters of the political thriller film in Tamil, Telugu, English, and Hindi languages, catering to a diverse audience base. Titled “Indian 2,” “Bharateeyudu 2,” and “Hindustani 2” respectively, the posters capture the essence of Senapathy’s legacy in various linguistic flavours.

“Indian 2” serves as a direct continuation of the 1996 film “Indian,” wherein Kamal Haasan portrayed two roles: a father and his son. Senapathy, the father character, emerged as a revered freedom fighter and vigilant crusader against corruption, leaving an indelible mark on Tamil cinema.
STAR-STUDDED CAST AND MUSICAL BRILLIANCE
Alongside Kamal Haasan, “Indian 2” features a stellar ensemble cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and more. Notably, the film also pays homage to late performers Nedumudi Venu and Vivek.
Anirudh Ravichander steps into the shoes of AR Rahman as the musical composer for this magnum opus, adding his unique touch to the film’s soundtrack.
