The 300-year-old City Palace of Jaipur has become the first royal property to be listed on Airnb, the largest market place for travellers in the world.
The palce has opened a room for the travellers at a cost of $7983 per night, so that one can stay like a royal at least for a day.
Beginning November 23, the private quarters of the palace, previously open only to royals and their special guests, will be open to Airbnb users.
The luxurious Gudliya Suite includes the usual trappings — lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom — as well as a private, indoor swimming pool and personal butler.
“I am thrilled that my family and I are partnering with Airbnb to bring the splendor of Rajasthan to life for travellers from around the world,” Maharaja Padmanabh Singh shared in a statement.
The structure, a beautiful blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, possess palace buildings from multiple eras, some dating back to the 19th century.
