Who are the best CEOs of 2019? Harvard Business Review has come up with a list of top performing officials, which includes three Indians on top list.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang of the Unites States was ranked the best CEO followed by Marc Benioff of Salesforce.com, US and Francois- Henri Pinault of Kering, France. Six of the top performing CEOs are from the United States, two from France and one each from Spain and Belgium. Nancy McKinstry from the United States of Dutch Information Services Company Wolters Kluver topped among the women CEOs. She has been placed at the 16th position.
Abode CEO Shantanu Narayen, Mastercard CEO Ajay Banga and Microsoft CEO Satya NAdella are the three Indian born who have found a place in the Harward list of performing CEOs. Piyush Gupta of DBS bank also gets mentioned in the list with a position of 89.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has been placed in the 62nd position. Nike CEO Mark Parker is in the 20th position and Jamie Dimon of J P Morgan Chase has been placed at the 23rd position.
The Harward Business Review has said that this time the ranking was based not only on financial performance but also on social, governance and environmental ratings. The review also says that women were under-represented among the 100. In the list, only four women CEOs make the mark. Apart from Nancy McKinstry, the others who have found a place in the list are Lisa Su of Advanced Micro Devices in the 26th position, Debra Cafaro of Ventas in the 29th place and Marillyn Hewson of Lockheed was placed in the 37th place.
