Majority happy to work from home

Corona lockdown has forced majority of the people to work from home. But the positive sign is that most of them are happier working inside the four walls of their home. This was revealed in a survey by OnePoll in collaboration with GoTo.

The survey was conducted to look into how people reacted to work from home. The survey was conducted among office goers in the US, India, Brazil, the UK, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

The survey said that about 77 per cent believed working from home was one of the most effective ways to help the environment. Most of them said that they spend nearly an hour every day for going to work and back home, which could have impacted the environment.

The survey also noted that 48 per cent would go for a pay cut happily if it meant they could work from home indefinitely. Apart from benefitting the environment and also saving travel time, 66 per cent of the office goers said hat work from Home saved a lot of money.

As many as 56 per cent of the surveyed people said that they were united with family and friends when working from home. When 45 per cent of the people said that they were happy working from home, 37 per cent of them said that they felt to be more productive at home.

More than half of the people (57%) pointed out that working from home gave them the ability to embrace a more flexible schedule. Forty eight percent said they cdanm save monety for the family. Well, there are 56 per cent who thinks of wearing whatever they like while working from home. Another 46 per cent said that they have close access to the kitchen.
