Miles apart, a couple from Kerala gets married in a virtual marriage. Sreejith Nadesan, 30, from Kottayam married Anjana from Pallippad, near Haripad, who is now a resident of Lucknow in UP.
The two married on a Video aap, sitting about 2400 Km apart. Their marriage was earlier fixed in January but was later postponed to April 26. But they did not want to postpone it again and got married virtually.
Anjana, who works as an analyst in an IT company, was unable to reach Kerala from UP because of the restrictions in movement due to coronavirus. As such, the couple decided to make it in virtual platform with all ceremonies.
The bridegroom’s father and a few relatives reached the bride’s place and the ceremony was held. In the video conference, Sreejith Nadesan put the wedding chain around the bride’s neck. In the video that has w become viral, the man is seen to tie the knot around the mobile. Simultaneously, the bride sitting i the other end tie a mangalsutra around her own neck. A few of the family members were present at the wedding.
