Hyundai, the renowned South Korean car manufacturer, unveiled its highly anticipated SUV, the Hyundai Exter, in India on July 10. The company has already revealed several details about the SUV on the internet, generating significant buzz ahead of its official launch. This launch is poised to be the third major release this month, following the Kia Seltos facelift and Maruti Suzuki Invicto. The Hyundai Exter is now available for advance booking on the official website or through authorized showrooms.
The Auto made its official presence known in India, showcasing an overall design that combines uniqueness with a touch of futurism. Notable design elements include H-shaped LED DRLs positioned above the projector headlamps. The front bonnet features a chrome-finished Exter badge adorned with the Hyundai logo.
One of the standout features is its diamond-cut sporty alloy wheels, designed to attract customers with their aesthetic appeal. Moving to the rear profile, the car boasts edgy H-shaped LED taillights complemented by a piano black strip.
Powering the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2L four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine is expected to deliver a maximum power output of around 81bhp at 6000rpm, coupled with a peak torque of 114Nm at 4000rpm.
Once launched, it will face competition from the Tata Punch and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios in the market, as these vehicles vie for customer attention and market share.
