Anne Madeleine Huppert, a famous actress of her generation would be honoured at the Golden Jubilee celebration of the International Film Federation of India, 2019huppert. He will be conferred with life time achievement award at IFFI in Goa.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is considered to the highest IFFI award and the most prestigious of all IFFI awards. It carries a purse of 10,000,00. Huppert has been chosen for her brilliant film journey and her artistic skills along with her contributions to the filmdom.
Since her debut in 1971, the most famous French actress has appeared in more than 120 films. She won the Cesar award twice for her role in La Ceremonie and Elle. She was the most nominated actress for the Cesar award.
It was her role in Elle that gave her international fame. Her role in this film had gained her a Golden Globe Award. She also has a long standing attachment with theatre and was also a stage artist. She is also known for the largest number of nominations for Molière Award.
Apart from this, Huppert was also the President of the Jury at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival. She has also won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival twice and also has the distinction of being one among the two actresses to have achieved this credit. She won the award for her role in Violette Nozière in 1978 The Piano Teacher in 2001.
She also has the distinction of getting the best actress award at the European Film Awards.
