It is real glory for two doctors in the United Kingdom when British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie Symonds named their son in honour of the two.
The son was born just days after Johnson returned to work after his hospitalisation and isolation for treatment of Coronavirus. Johnson and his fiancée Carrie Symonds named their newborn Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson. The name Wilfred comes after Boris’ grandfather. Lawrie comes after Symond’s grandfather’s name and Nicholas comes after Dr Nick Price and Dr Nick Hart. These are the two doctors who saved the life of Boris last month,” Symonds said on her private Instagram account Saturday.
She also thanked the NHS maternity team at UCLH that looked after them. “I couldn’t be happier. My heart is full,” she said in the message. Johnson was the first leader to fall ill with coronavirus. He spent in the intensive care in April for three nights.
Meanwhile the doctors said that they were humbled and honoured to be recognised in this manner. Dr Price is the director of infection at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Hart is the director of respiratory and critical care.
