In a move towards electric mobility, BMW Motorrad breaks the mold with its latest offering, the CE 02 electric two-wheeler. The brand is pushing the boundaries of traditional commuting by infusing quirkiness and a unique use case into their design. Aptly named ‘eParkourer,’ this electric bike promises a fun and playful riding experience. With its minimalistic bodywork, low seat height, and small wheels, the CE 02 is specifically tailored for urban environments.

The visual aesthetics of the CE 02 feature a striking triple-tone paint scheme, blending shades of blue, black, and grey, complemented by disc wheels and eye-catching golden USD forks. These elements add a touch of visual funk to the e-bike’s overall appearance.
Underneath its steel double-loop frame lies an air-cooled, synchronous motor, generating a maximum power output of around 15bhp and an impressive 54.91Nm of torque. Powering the motor are two 1.96kWh air-cooled, lithium-ion batteries. With a top speed of 95kmph and a range of 90km, the CE 02 is optimized for city commuting, offering an efficient and eco-friendly transportation solution. Charging the electric bike to full capacity takes approximately 3.5 hours using a 1.5kW fast charger.
The CE 02 rides on 14-inch disc wheels, supported by 37mm inverted telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided aluminium swing arm connected to a direct-link monoshock at the rear. Weighing just 132kg and featuring a low seat height of 29.5 inches, the CE 02 provides exceptional manoeuvrability and handling, catering to riders of all age groups and body types. All essential vehicle information is conveniently displayed on a compact 3.5-inch colour TFT screen.
While BMW Motorrad positions the CE 02 as an exciting and unconventional electric two-wheeler, it comes with a premium price tag of USD 7,599 (Rs 6.26 lakh) in the US market. As a result, it may not make its way to price-sensitive markets like India in the near future. Nevertheless, the CE 02 represents BMW’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric mobility and offering a unique, playful, and sustainable urban commuting solution.
