50 golden films of 1969 finds a place in IFFI

The International Film festival of India, which has entered its 50th year, will be showcasing films that were released in 1969 from across the country. The films that are included in the package include Malayalam, Assamese, Odiya, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada films.

Tambdi Mati by Bhalji Pendharkar that won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi in 1969, Nanak Nam Jahaz Hai (Ram Maheshwary) that had gained S Mohinder the National Film Award for best Music Direction in 1970 are the films that are included in this section.
